The Great Paradigm Reset Book Mockup

You're the only problem you'll ever have.
And, baby, you're the only solution.

Six decades of Bob Proctor's and Sandy Gallagher's teachings in the simplest form it has ever been put. Twenty chapters on the mental program running your results, and what happens when you rewrite them.

200 pages. 20 chapters to transform your life.
Three formats, in shops 8 September.

01 · The idea

The same results, year after year, are not an accident.

You have read the books. You know the ideas. You may have taught some of them to other people. And the results still come back the same shape, up a little, down a little, every year. That is not a discipline problem and it is not a knowledge problem.

Bob's word for it is the paradigm: a mental program with almost exclusive control over your habitual behavior. You did not choose it. It was installed, mostly before you were old enough to object, by the people and the place you grew up in. It runs whether you agree with it or not. Knowing better does not touch it, which is why knowing better has not worked.

Why this, now

For most of history the program was written by your family and your town. It is no longer only them. Whoever holds your attention writes your paradigm, and for the first time your attention is held for hours a day by systems built to hold it. The installation never stops.

Which makes the ability to see your own program, and rewrite it on purpose, less of a self-improvement nicety and more of the basic literacy of the age. The book is that literacy, in the plainest words Bob ever used for it.

Bob Proctor, chapter two
"If you've got a challenge or a problem, write it down on a big sheet of paper and put it in the center of the table. Then sit down and look at it and say, 'Is that in me, or is it on the paper?' If it's disturbing you, it's in you."

The book opens with a diagnosis, not a pep talk. Nine chapters in Bob's voice on what the program is, where yours came from, why it beats willpower every time, and the one question that gets it out of you and onto the paper.

How the book does it

02 · Inside the book

Don't fight the existing reality. Check it at the door. Build a new model.

Sandy memorised that sentence on a flight to Argentina, mid-divorce, after Bob drew her the stick figure and showed her she was feeding the very thing she wanted gone. She repeats it every day. It is the method in eleven words. The twenty chapters unpack it in three moves.

Chapters 1 to 4
See
Bob · the diagnosis

Name the program that has been running you.

Multiply your income by twelve. The paradigm as your mental program. The one you inherited. The law of attraction as Bob actually taught it, without the mystique. You cannot change what you cannot see, and most of this has never been shown to you plainly.

Chapters 5 to 13
Choose
Bob, then Sandy · the turn

Stop feeding it.

You have a choice, and it is smaller and more available than you think. Why worry. The big money. Your divine spark and your higher faculties. Then Sandy takes over: a model of the mind, letting go, gratitude, asking for guidance. The middle of the book is where the old program loses its food supply.

Chapters 14 to 20
Build
Sandy · the new model

Install the one you actually want.

The habit of success. The ABCs of goals. Working with the subconscious mind. The terror barrier. Visioneering. Seven levels of awareness. You never arrive. Written by someone who did it from a Wall Street law office, with the family intervention included.

Twenty chapters, one sitting each. No workbook, no programme, no login. A book you can read on the plane and argue with in the margin.

03 · Bob and Sandy

Two lives, one method, told in the first person.

The book states its own authorship on page eleven. In the first nine chapters, "I" is Bob. From chapter ten on, "I" is Sandy. What follows is not a testimonial section. It is the authors, in the book, on what the method did in their own lives.

"It never entered my mind that I could. But that's where I was, because I didn't know how to change the situation. One year later, with no formal education and no business experience, I was earning $175,000 a year."
Bob Proctor, 1961Chapter one. Earning $4,000 a year and owing $6,000 when a mentor handed him a book and asked why he did not change.
01 / 03
These are the authors' own stories as told in the book, and the reason it exists. They are not a forecast of anyone else's results, and the book does not pretend otherwise.

04 · What tends to change

It's not who you are that holds you back. It's who you think you're not.

Here is what tends to change when the program is finally visible. Not guaranteed. Observed, by the two people who wrote it down.

  1. You stop arguing with the traffic.

Sandy was always late on the Pacific Coast Highway and blamed the accidents. Bob called mid-drive: "What's your paradigm?" The circumstances you have been blaming start to look like output, and that is the first day they become changeable.

  2. The fear at the edge of the big decision gets a name.

The book calls it the terror barrier. Sandy hit it with a resignation letter queued to two thousand people and a finger that would not press send. A named fear is a smaller one, and chapter seventeen is the naming.

  3. The morning gets a shape.

Ten things you are grateful for, a quiet minute, love sent to three people who bother you. Bob wrote it on a napkin in Phoenix in November 2010. It is in chapter twelve, and it is the smallest thing in the book that does the most.

Back to the formats
01 Is this just Bob's older material again? +

It is Bob's material, yes. The book says so itself: a distillation of what he taught for six decades in seminars that cost thousands to attend, edited into twenty chapters, the simplest and clearest it has ever been put. If you have read everything, you will recognise the ideas.

What you will not have read is the second half. Chapters ten to twenty are Sandy's, in the first person, on what happened when she applied it: the resignation letter, the family intervention, the half-million-dollar handshake in Delray Beach, the napkin. That half is new.

02 Who actually wrote which part? +

The book states it on page eleven. In the first nine chapters, "I" is Bob. From chapter ten on, "I" is Sandy. Bob passed away in 2022; his chapters are drawn from his recorded and transcribed teaching. Sandy's are hers.

03 Do I need to have read You Were Born Rich or Change Your Paradigm first? +

No. This one was built to stand alone, and to be the first Bob Proctor book you could hand to someone who has never heard of him. If you have read the others, this is the one that puts the whole method in one place.

04 Which format should I get? +

The paperback if you want it on the shelf and in your hands on the 8th, and if you are in the US, the UK or Australia where the print edition ships without difficulty. The Kindle edition if you are anywhere else, or want it the moment it is out. The audiobook if you listen more than you read.

05 I am outside the United States. Where do I order? +

Waterstones and Blackwell's in the UK, Booktopia in Australia, and the Kindle edition from Amazon anywhere. The paperback ships internationally from Amazon.com as well, though shipping costs vary a great deal by country, which is why the Kindle edition is the easier route for most readers outside North America.

06 Is this the same thing as the Pattern Reset? +

No. The Pattern Reset is a live, five-day programme Sandy runs. This is a book: the ideas underneath that programme, and underneath everything Proctor Gallagher teaches, in their original form and in Bob's own words. You can read the book without ever joining anything.

07 When does it arrive? +

Publication is Tuesday 8 September 2026. Pre-ordered paperbacks ship on or around that day, depending on the retailer. Kindle and audiobook editions are delivered automatically on the 8th.

08 I have read everything and nothing has stuck. Why would this be different? +

That is the reader this book was written for, and chapter two says so in the second paragraph: probably 90 percent of the people who study this information do not use it. The difference the book offers is not more information. It is seeing the program that has been quietly discarding the information you already had. That is a different kind of reading, and it is the whole point of the first four chapters.
